To order ChemDraw software, click "Get ChemDraw" and search for the University of Alberta.

Once you have registered, you will be able to download the ChemDraw Prime for free with instructions emailed to you by PerkinElmer.

Available for Windows and Mac.

The license expires each November and you will have to renew it at that time for continued use.

Installing Chemdraw

Use your .ualberta.ca email extension (faculty, staff and students) may download this software and install on one computer.

Please use Internet Explorer or Firefox to request your software.

License Expiry Date: This license will have to be renewed every October as the license key will expire. Please register again.
Installation Instructions: will be provided when you register.
Software License Rules: one copy of this software can be downloaded annually and installed on either personal or university owned computers.
Home Use Rules: this software can be installed on one computer at home.

ChemDraw Prime is the complete entry-level drawing program that provides all the tools you need to quickly create chemically intelligent, publication-ready chemical structures and reactions, laboratory notes and experiment write-ups. As well as a full set of chemical structure essentials such as rings, bonds, chains, atoms and functional groups, ChemDraw Prime includes chemical and lab equipment templates and handy TLC and Gel Electrophoresis Plate drawing tools.

ChemDraw Prime includes the following features:

Tetrahedral and geometric stereochemistry, including absolute and relative
